A number of individuals have asked us why Scot (The Shadow in the Virginian Review) used the word “removed” in relation to our “Mountain Rush Coming in 2025” banner. We don’t know why he did and would recommend that you direct your questions concerning his content to him. Perhaps it was to insinuate that the banner had been deliberately removed because Mountain Rush was failing or because we didn’t pass an inspection, etc. We don’t know.
Neither he nor a Virginian Review staff member has asked us about the banner, so they probably don’t know why it isn’t up anymore. If they had but asked us, we would’ve let them know that the wind, snow and ice had weakened the banner’s tie downs and the weather had torn the banner down. Since we are about to open anyway and were already having Image Express make us a new banner for the front door, we decided not to put the “Coming in 2025” banner back up.
